I saw this tag floating around YouTube, and it seemed like a fitting tag for me to do. I liked the questions involved, so here goes nothing.

- Totally should’ve gotten a sequel
I think that To Kill A Kingdom by Alexandra Christo could have a decent sequel. But in all honesty, I don’t think that may standalones actually need sequels since I feel like there are satisfying endings to conclude the story.
- Totally should’ve had a spinoff series
I really enjoyed the universe of the Young Elites, so I think that it could have a decent spinoff series.
- An author who should totally write more books
One of my new favorite authors is Tomi Adeyemi, the author of Children of Blood and Bone. That book was absolutely phenomenal and I’m excited for the upcoming sequels. I hope that this author, whose writing and style kind of reminds me of Leigh Bardugo, continues to write more novels in the future.
- A character who totally should’ve ended up with someone else
Eh, I usually tend to agree with who the author pairs the character with. One ship that I felt could’ve just stayed was Simon and Maia. I don’t like either one of those characters, but i just felt like it was so boring just to have Simon and another Shadowhunter (Izzy). Like I had enough with all the shadowhunter stuff in that book, so I guess Simon could’ve been with Maia longer.
- Totally should’ve ended differently
A book that I felt could’ve had a better ending was Everything Everything. That book wasn’t good, but I just wanted much more from the story and I don’t think it concluded very well.
- Totally should’ve had a movie franchise
I feel like the Testing trilogy by Joelle Charbonneau would make a good movie franchise. The series is packed with action, and I just think it would translate well onto a screen.
- Totally should’ve had a TV show
I actually can’t think of a book that deserves a TV show. I do see some books translating well into movies, but I don’t think that many would make a decent TV show. It would be hard to break up the storylines of books to fit the length of a TV episode, so I don’t think I have an answer for this.
- Totally should’ve had only one point of view
I don’t think that Allegiant needed to have multiple perspective s. Having Tris as a perspective was bad enough, but incorporating Four’s perspective in Allegiant made the story a) even worse and b) more confusing. Basically the story was even worse within another perspective.
- Totally should have a cover change
I haven’t read this particular book yet since I never was interested, but looking at the covers of The Diviners series by Libba Bray, I wish that the last cover could change. I feel like it just doesn’t match any of the other covers at all, and ruins the “aesthetic” of the series.
- Totally should’ve kept the original covers
I think that the Ember in the Ashes series should have kept the original covers. I’ve never been a fan with books that have people on the cover. I don’t hate the cover of the “A Reaper At the Gates” cover, but I still wished it kept the original format.
- Totally should’ve stopped at book one
The Matched trilogy. Even though the first book was still pretty bad, the following books were even worse. I don’t want to spoil what happens in them if you do read them, but I wouldn’t even have anything to say since nothing actually happens. The first book was sufficient enough, and the following books weren’t really necessary at all.
